I need to know, is there an unofficial ritual that ask us pvp players to not press the “ready” button ever or I’m alone to think the worst of pvp is the waiting?

Why do you think we never ever get any match started sooner than when the timer expires despite having the possibility to do otherwise?

I’m just baffled…

Not even sure why the option is there, no one uses it.

My very first sPvP game ever everyone had clicked the ready button and we were starting within 10 seconds.

Hundreds of matches later and I have yet to see everyone ready-up before the timer ticks down to 0. It happens, but it is not frequent enough…

They should make the button a big bigger imo. But next time, try to discuss strategy with your team in the mean time. That’s a good way to get ahead early in the game.

Exactly. Not every team is a 5 Q. People talk strategy (at least a little). I probably would be pretty accurate if I said 50% of people use that 2 minutes to run to the bathroom or the fridge. They didn’t want to leave computer during long Q and miss it so they rush during that time.

I’d honestly rather they went for a quick AFK after the queue has popped and they accept, than them being at, e.g., the toilet when it pops and it timing out. I hate when queue pops, especially after waiting for a while, and that one person didn’t accept before it times out.
