I would like to ask the developers for more clarity in terms of the upcoming glory change and how we can prepare for it.

Also I’d like to question the strategy behind recent glory sinks (cultural armor, the winterdays npc, etc.) and the obvious problem of glory boosters and spvp crafting materials.

To make the playerbase aware of how glory is not going to be phased-out, but is actively being phased-out already… which has not necessarily been in our advantage due to Arenanet’s lack of clear communication about their plans. Unfortunately.

- Use glory boosters.
- Fill out your locker. (?)
- Get “those things” out of your locker. (?)
- Salvage “extras”. (?)
- Craft “specific pvp stuff”. (?) Use ALL your crafting materials.
- Make unidentified dyes.

- Greater rewards for teamwork in competitive play.
- Gear transferable from PVP to PVE and vice versa, so fill your locker.
- Gold and experience in PVP. Gold will be the standard currency.

To me, it seems wasteful to be unclear about these changes. Players will and have spent or not spent glory on various temporary sinks and may already start to feel cheated! Unless the new award system is flawless, individual players will have missed a chance to be awarded for what they had earned in the past and will have to work towards regaining features they lost by not being informed.

Please, be more vocal and clear about exactly what will change and how you anticipate it will affect the players. The blog posts are far more functional than the youtube videos in this matter.

This please we need atleast some notion of what the new rewards system will be. Unless they don’t even know themselves. In which case they shouldn’t phase out glory just yet.

Yeah, this needs to be done – preferably in-game too. Easily done, a simply mail to everyone notifying them of the upcoming glory booster destruction, and a short list of how best to prepare for the change. As of now, it is too vague. I’m also not sure when to use all my pvp Mystic Forge mats by? By the 18th? By later?

Too little information, and too much confusion will just further upset the small tiny population of dedicated pvpers. (yes, you have “internal metrics” showing a lot run spvp, I’m going by the % of resources it seems you dedicate to pvp vs pve.).

After the stream tonight I want to enquire again about the Ready Up broadcasts!

You really didn’t miss anything in the RU. This is the summary of glory preparation and the RU:

• You will keep stuff in your locker. It will play some role in the future. So, consider filling it.
• PvP mats, boosters, and chests will be deprecated. Use them before they are removed come the feature patch.
• Vendors will stick around post 3.18 patch. However, you will be unable to earn any additional glory.
• Additional rank points and glory will be awarded this weekend. The amount will be announced later.
• RU will move to a weekly basis for the next 3 weeks.
