death shroud may be ended prematurely but if you can survive those 10 seconds you can still activate it again as the life force is still there.

As soon as you are transformed to a Moa, use 5 to get away and 2 to get away a little bit more. Though I as an engie usually try to Moa necros when then use their DS while HP is low and as soon as they are transformed I use Thunderstrike to stun them and hammer them down before they can get away. Once you are moad, chances of survival are slim.

Yes, that’s true.

But, what I meant is that reaper’s shroud is removed instantly without being transformed into moa. I enter shroud and shroud is removed leaving me without being able to heal because heal is recharging, and all other utility skills also.

I main engi, but that does not mean I know all tips and tricks but something like that is nothing I know of atleast. The only think I know that can interrupt DS or RS is other transformation skills. Maby you havekeybinded a key you don’t know about and accidently transform yourself back?

if you have recording ability try and record the next time it happens, im guessing he got you with that leap combo

When it’s engi it is 3 sec. only. Longer is mes signet of humility and now it gives 6 sec. of moa.

Just use 5 skill to evade/run out or 2 skill to jump out.

My money is on getting hit by a burst skill. If you run glass that can happen.

Nvidia something can record stuff kinda backwards. Shadow play i think its called. Maybe that helps, but i have no clue how

I’d say it is something with a transformation and a high burst.

I haven’t seen in PvP yet but in PvE you can replicate the loss of the death or reaper shroud with some bosses like the Jellyfish in fractal. If it pulls you to be eaten, it will end the shroud yet you won’t be imprisoned like normally happens.

Also, if you are taking the trait in Death Magic that automatically activates shroud, and this procs while you happen to be trying to manually enter shroud, you will go in and immediately out of shroud, leaving you on full cooldown and completely vulnerable. But this has nothing to do with the Engineer at all if this is what is happening.
