Simple, this game dosn’t provide in-game instant shop selling you perma boost items like League of Legends doing.

If you were able to get those items, it would be possible for one person making killstreaks, but sadly this game don’t.

That is why SoloQ is too much depends on luck factor: you lose if your team get more noob people, you can’t be game changer.

If this game provided you perma boost items, then you, who is really skilled for example, would make killstreaks so you will totally lead your whole team to win.

what do you think?

Are you attempting to troll? It’s hard to tell with the broken English, and with your post history to be honest.

If it happens that you aren’t trolling, then this is literally the worst idea I’ve ever seen in this forum. And that’s saying something.

Solo queue is based on luck considering team compositions only. I already argued about it, but it’s common having matchs such as necros mesmers and thieves against guard engis and war.

It usually takes 1 mistake from the first team to lose the match, especially on team queue maps, while it doesn’t take any effort from the second team to win the match, or to lose from a close score..

Sorry op your statement has 2 separate ideas together they don’t make sense. Boosters and kill streaks? This conquest game mode killing isn’t even the main part of it.

All the situations that happen(afks, noob, lag) is something everyone encounters. Player at top end of lb have to deal with it as well. You can look at it as a statistical wash.

Great players deal with the negative situations better, they have bigger impacts on the game and carry harder.
Its relatively easy to get to the top but staying there is a different matter.

Sometimes players can get very lucky and rise to the top but if aren’t meant to be there they will fall. So if players are playing regularly and are consistently holding a top spot they are most likely very good and meant to up there.

At this time the is no incentive to be at top, which is a shame. Some rewards you be added to make things more meaningful.

I agree that luck is too much involved in this ranking system on SoloQ. At one point I’m ranked #400 and the next moment I dropped to #950 after losing some matches and not playing for 1 day. If you are ranked for example at #200 it is supposed to mean that only 199 people are better than you at this part of the game. Unfortunately, this ladder system won’t tell you that.

Is this shocking to anyone that there’s a “luck” factor involved in SoloQ? Did anyone here ever play RA in GW1?

There is a huge luck factor.

50% of the time I am on a good team and we rofl stomp the other side. 50% of the time I am on a bad team and get stomped. There seems to be very little in between.

I have absolutely no control over this.

Same thing if you soloq in LOL. You will get nice runs where you can’t lose and bad runs where you can’t win.

If you are an average player, like me, you will just have to put up with the people you get grouped with. Look at the over all picture and shrug.

There is not much you can do when you got a noob Thief and Ranger and the other team has all Champion rated Eles and Engis. It’s going to be a disaster and its no one’s fault.

@OP

In solo queue, 1 person CAN be a game changer. Remember, in solo queue there is very little team communication. One smartly played bunker can win your team the match.

That is why SoloQ is too much depends on luck factor: you lose if your team get more noob people, you can’t be game changer.

If you want be a game changer just pick turret engie and go far. Your team can be bad, but this move separates 50/50 your contribution to the win and contibution of other 4 teammates

If you can play a good decapper you will have a nice winning percentage. As it throws the other team into confusion and allows your team to get numerical advantages on other points.

If you are a pro thief, mes, engi, or ele you can also kill people really quickly making things imbalanced. But you have to be really good to carry like this.

Largely I find games are won by who has the best aoe damage… skill of the players being similar.
