It is just stupid. After 6pm it is imposible to play ranked solo que. All premaid teams. Worst part is am losing 500-100. My team just rune around map geting kills. Every game same story after 6pm.

Ranked is actually restricted to solo/duo. Maybe git gud?

Such is soloQ. Always random. Always unfair….to the losing side. Work to increase your influence on every match so you can tip the scales in your favour every time.

I was thinking LoL is the worst in ranked quing… But this……Bro this teams only Hulk can help. No communication, map knowledge and awareness 0, hunger for kills and highest dmg done 100%…..Imposible to play after 6pm. ii dont know if thats the kids start playing at that time or something differente.

Maybe its the children. If you find the game not working for you at certain times, go do something else. If you still wanna play GW2, there are enough things for someone to do if you want to break from PvP.

Am playing gw2 for pvp only and 6pm is my free time…… Ah Will try few days more if it doesnt work then…………..mybe i go back to BnS solo arena.

Idk how WvWvW is looking like, but you can try solo roaming.

Tryed. Its cool but hes no ranking, and most of the time you get to be runing from 2 squads of angry players…..

Then find a duo partner. At least then youll have one more person aside from yourself to rely on (assuming the guy you find is any good).

I was wandering one more thing. i am maid mesmer but am not sure how much mesmer can make breaktrue solo que. witch class is best for solo ques?

Not entirely sure myself.

I can give you a few guidelines.

Your spec has to either be a roamer or teamfighter.

If youre a roamer, focus on mobility and dueling potential. For mobility, naturally you’d want quick access to it (thief SB 5 is an example of such, albeit the most extreme).

If youre a team fighter, you either bring very good AoE damage or sustain.

Keep this in mind next time you sit down and look at the way you play and how your build is structured.

You are on point there. No fun this way. Just hate to lose couse people is not even basic lvl

I still think it is hit or miss. Yesterday into this morning. OMG I had like 15 loses to 3 or 4 wins. But then today as of now I am riding a 7 game win streak. Comes and goes. Some people get caught off point and no choice but to fight or take a chance on downed before reaching point. So many variables. I will be buying stock in Kleenex though because there is a lot of kittening going on during losses. (not aimed at OP)

Lmao. These threads all have OP’s that refuse to learn different builds or classes. You can’t use the same exact thing every single time and expect to win every game. You need to look at your comp and the team comp and adjust. My build is an exception because I experimented through hours of effort to get to it. My only problem with PVP is my ping in EU. And the fact that a significant amount of intramural tier EU players fail to acknowledge that this is a issue that impacts gameplay significantly. But I play to play, and I’ll play through a lag spike no crying.

I play after 6pm EST, ranked solo, and still do pretty decent. I will point out, I am not playing ranked for rank, but the rewards instead. I’m only t2 bronze, I know I’m not a Platinum grade PVPer, I don’t pretend to be.

If anything I’m happy that this season rank and rewards are separated, as it means players like myself can still have fun.

Just to be clear, in case you are “LMAO” at me. I play a ranger as well but I prefer Necro, it’s what I am good at, I can burn Warriors and Guards down no issue. My only nemesis is a Mesmer.

Why do you think everyone would have to play another class? I have found something that works for me and stick with it. I am not a salty PvP’r. I understand I am going to win some lose some. After that post BTW I went on to a healthy win run ratio and am plenty happy with my play style.

Since I am about two and a half weeks into actually playing PvP (I have done nothing but PvE since release of GW2) would you not rather pair up with me who knows how to play or pair up with me playing a Guard making a fool of myself?

Anyway, no hard feelings as everyone plays different and TBH I am surprised I am enjoying PvP and am surprised how well I am doing it. I really expected to play for a few days, punch monitor, beg wife for new monitor then punch it again. In reality I have found new enjoyment to the game but also understand that it needs tweaking. Go to any other MMO Forum and find the same salty posts of how bad developer is failing, OP builds, match making sucks…. it is really what kept me away from PvP and that is a shame because I wasted 4 years killing static monsters when I could have been downing all of you :P

Yeah I can agree with that. Fighting off point I learned as a big no-no. The map is your friend and chat can keep you alive. I have other conspiracies but will keep them to myself.
