Wait. Reward chest as in the reward chest you get after playing a ranked match?

If so curious why. Thought a lot of players had just stocked up a ton of chest haha. Maybe to get new players in?

They will prolly finally include Gem Store, Gold and other PVE items in tourney rewards chests so they’re giving everyone the opportunity to stack up on piles upon piles of Reward Chests. Or so at least I hope.

How long will the double reward chests be going on for?

So winner at solo or team arena gets 2 chests. Loser 1 chest? And in the future it will be removed(thats why we should get them “while we can”) and replaced by other rewards?

I strongly believe that he thinks that we dont have all the pvp skins from chests..And now its a good chance to gather em…
Sometime i see some devs saying things like, “in pvp armor have no stats..”.
Like the pvp guide live streaming..
I asked, “is there someone that didnt known this?after a year of pvping” and they answered me that they see new ppl everyday.
The stream had like 500 viewers and they think that a newcomer will come and watch it..The only ones still watching GW2 pvp are the old players, the ones that still want this game to be esports…
Exactly this is what they are doing right now.
They are giving double chests for newcomers to farm pvp skins..

Nice, I sold my 200 trick or treat bags in black lion trade post because they were useless in pvp before I travel lol
Now I am coming back to gw2 only in December… Won’t get any reward…. Anyway , if it’s only tourney chests I don’t care cause of course I have all the skins and we can always farm again….

Most players in PvE can tell you at least one story of how they stockpiled something for weeks/months only to have it nerfed into oblivion before they could open it. The most recent examples are the gauntlet bags and the champion boxes.

Players lost out on 100’s of gold in loot and coin by stockpiling chests. Take my advice, open them now.

We are not stockpilling chests because we beliave we will get rich with them we just hope that will happen. But the true reason is they are simply not worth opening. You just get some skins you have to salvage to get dust and orbs that take up your inventory space. The only fun thing in them are und dyes that drop now and then.

Cool, so now we get to spam-salvage more junk into extra junk?

YEAH!!! More crap for everyone! Already have like 400+ unopened chest (Probably more i don’t even look at them anymore since months) so tell me…is this supposed to make some sort of difference? Just more worthless chests, not even worth the time it takes to open….along with dat glory…

Oh well they can delete chest already, noone gives a kitten bout chests…

I’d rather have the ToT bags, atleast I can sell them. I have a stack of chests that I don’t even bother to open anymore.

Well I use them to make dyes. Although I think given the scarcity of arcane slivers, it was more profitable and a lot less hassle with the halloween stuff. I think as long as it’s rewarding, it’s harsh how much more profitable mindless pve can be.

Well according to the data-mining, Legendary PvP weapons are just around the corner.

So maybe the idea is rack up a ton of tourney chests and save them? Then once a future patch hits that implements ‘Shards of Legend’, we turn them all in for phat loot
