Remove Dodge Queue Now - Still Bugged!
With no queue at all the game would play like crap
Imagine spamming the same skill (autoattack if you arent a thief :P ).You would now have to wait time that is based on your laatency in between each attack which would effectively make someone with very low latency having a faster attack rate against a higher latency guy..and to be honest ive seen it in a few games and i think it would be terrible.I think tera is like that cause my archer was firing arrows slower if i was lagging but there have been ages since i played that.Aion was like that too were if i had low latency i could cast with my sorcerer a spell activated by a combo 1 more time than if i was lagging etc (that zapping thing while you had them in air ..forgot all names)
Just put the queue to 1 skill and exclude evading and highly reactional skills and we would be fine!Entirely off-topic. Nobody is talking about the skill queue just the DODGE queue. It interrupts your skills and it’s 100% useless. Nobody wants it and it should be removed.

Died to dodge roll queue bug twice this morning. Was not fixed in patch, even though it was in patch notes. The queue window might just be a little smaller.
Easy fix for dodge roll: make anything queued after dodge roll cancel dodge rolls that are waiting in the queue. Allows for latency, prevents player frustration.
Alternatively, shorten the queue such that there can be no more than one non-instant spell in the queue at a time and make sure that the enqueue operation requires that the currently casting spell has completed at least 50% of its cast time. This would also fix some class-specific queuing problems related to button-mashing. The nature of latency means the players are going to want to hit a button multiple times to make sure the message gets through, as we’ve all learned from countless other online games with latency. The player shouldn’t be punished for that.

Sorry, it was my comment that was off topic—which is why I suggested that AFTER the current dodging emergency is fixed, perhaps a scaling option could be introduced. That way, people with very fast or very slow connections/fingers could optimize their queueing system.
It wasn’t really related to the issue of dodges being counted in the skill queue, which doesn’t even make sense because dodges are “instant” in the sense that they perform as soon as the command is given/received by the server, and never wait for the end of a different spell to perform.
still broken…is it too hard to put dodge OUT of skill queing? the game was perfectly fine before the patch…If it works, don’t change it, it’s like the number one rule of programming -.-

Worst bug in the game.
This is REALLY kitten me off right now. The last 5 or so games I haven’t actually been able to use my heal OR elite skill. Both get interrupted by dodge queue EVERY SINGLE TIME, normally Mesmers are fine but now it’s pathetic.
Your fix did nothing, fix it properly.

As an elem I get close to my target and get ready to use Updraft to initiate my combo, I get immobilized just before the skill was about to fire so it does not, and at the end of the immobilize Updraft fires…
Yes, I love to do windy blackflips in the middle of the battlefield just for the looks of it!

Updraft can be activated while immobilized so i don’t know what you’re talking about.

Making the most powerful CC in the game even more powerful. Surprised players aren’t exploiting this and going for every immobilize ability and trait they have.
PVE event broke? HOTFIXED! Game breaking pvp bug…Let’s just say we fixed it.

This is really unacceptable!
As an elementalist I experience this on a daily basis, pretty much every hour! (not the heal cancel, but the after-stun updraft/kd)
Just make it so that immo/death clears all dodge from queue, and that stuns/kd clear all casts from queue at the moment of application. Easy! So do it quick, please?

Hopefully we’ll get an update on whether it’s going to be fixed one day.
To me, the fact this isn’t fixed and wasn’t fixed on day one reflects on the game’s potential as an e-sport and how seriously the developers take the PvP side of the game. Does anyone doubt this kind of movement- and skill-breaking bug wouldn’t be fixed instantly in games like League of Legends or Dota 2? There’s no doubt in my mind Riot and Valve would roll out a hotfix within hours if, say, clicking to move sometimes randomly broke a spell in a way that was unavoidable and beyond a player’s control.

I don’t know if NC-Soft calculate and allocate the budget for A-Net or not and if yes, how’d they split it PvP/PvE-wise. But if they’d do that it would be no surprise.
Nevertheless PvP in terms of E-Sport is the best incoming and also the best marketing you can have. But like all companies out there, they wanna see fast results. Promoting E-Sports needs a lot of time and financial investment.
Without any insight it’s hard to tell why they do what they do.
I wonder why this haven’t been fixed yet. it’s damaging to the gameplay, it handicaps the ability to react as quick as possible to a situation forcing you to just die, or take a chance at having a key skill interrupted.
It also feels like you’re being punish for trying to dodge an ileap, fear etc.. if a q is a must why not make it expire after 1s ? and not force you to dodge after a long fear in which you been taking damage and really need to heal.

Didn’t he say in a stream that the fix didn’t make it to the mid-month patch and that it should come on the 28th? I sure hope so because this bug is kitten annoying on my thief.
I had no idea about this until I read this thread. Until now, I just though I was doing something wrong and kind of blowing it off. Now I see it all the kitten time, interrupting my heals constantly.

mine was in Spirit Watch.. I was on the bridge towards wolf minding my own business when this Necro started using marks so I tried to dodge but got feared, I had a little dmg on me but i was feared straight on bridge so no biggie, when bloob! char decides to randomly dodge to the side, falling off bridge and ending its life. all on its own :[
