Oh sure I’ll just remove ALL of the conditions they are putting on me while fearing me for 13k. Terror Necro is fine. They needed a big buff but once again Anet went too far.

Stability/ stunbreakers for terror. if you can wipe any of the condis on you youa re fine, honestly. torment does not have a long duration and does not hit tremendously hard. wait it out, just like you would have to do against confusion.

13k burst is actually possible. Terror stacked, Burning proc, lots of bleed+poison and a torment capper. It requires that you exhausted your stun breaks and no AoE cleanses go off near you, and the GC necro that drops it on you has to live about 6 seconds. Warrior, Mesmer, Thief, Guardian can all burst for more in less time and are more difficult to counter/mitigate. Don’t see the issue here.

There really isn’t enough condi removal now though… I went on a necro (never played it before, may I add) and 1v1ed an experienced bunker guardian and he simply didn’t have the removal to survive more than 30s. That really isn’t acceptable imo.

Bunker guards aren’t 1v1ers. They shine better with team support (all of those shouts + virtues going to waste).

At 30s he made a mistake or had a really bad build for fighting a condi-necro. A necro should always win that 1v1, but it should take much longer than 30s if the Guardian has a good build for it and doesn’t make an oops.

The Necro changes make them harder on Guardians than they were before. This is true, but a full bunker spec should still be able to hang on longer than that.

I specialize in Power/Toughness, 3.5k Armor, 3.8k Attack

I consider myself to be pretty Bunker, I use GS/Hammer

If Guardians Spec for only mitigating then they sacrifice the very few critical utility slots we have. We will be so kitten if we spec to focus on removing conditions.

Where as the trade off for the necro is what? Nothing…

Sure a guardian can have an overall build that does good at everything, but up against me, Im great at one thing, that overall guardian wont stand a chance.

Torment isn’t even working properly right now… there isn’t any increased damage on movement. It’s basically a weaker bleed.
