Can you PLEASE remove profession wins from daily achievement progress?
Would be nice if you removed it from “Year of Ascension” progression too, but it’s too late I guess.

I could live with removing them from daily ach progression only.

Why?

People join RANKED games with classes they simply don’t know how to play.
People are making characters JUST for daily ach. progression.

Isn’t that… stupid?

Don’t wanna write an essay about this, you all know you hate when you see a team-mate in ranked arena on a “daily chars”. It’s kinda obvious it’s “daily char” cuz you can’t just be THAT BAD on your main character.

We can only benefit from this.

- less rage
- less QQ
- more balance between teams

EDIT: I guess you could re-work it to 2 wins with any profession for 33% of progression.

Inventive to play other classes and become better at the game. Not sure why this is a problem.

It’s problem because people queue ranked matches with classes they can’t play on competitive level.

Entire team suffers and looses points.

Playing and learning multiple classes is not an issue.
Playing them in ranked arena is not an issue.

The issue is when they consider your other classes as “mastered” as your main. When I play new classes, they put me with/against players as “skilled” as my main. Like, you can’t REALLY expect me to play as well as my main, with another classe with like zero pvp experience.

I always thought that divisions and MMR shouldn’t be account bounded, but different between each of your classes.

Each profession was supposed to have it’s own MMR, but I think ANET scrapped it, or disabled it until they could figure out how to fix it. Basically people could Q on their zero pvp experience thief or something and then swap to their 10k games played, max swag elementalist. Easy win for the ele.

actually ninja, that would fix problem.

Each char owning separate progression sounds great. Some stuff really shouldn’t be account bound.

On paper it sounds great to make other people play different professions but ANet offer no healthy leeway for players who participate in this for leagues.

Watching Leet0 play thief after turning legendary was hilarious. But honesty it was a disaster for ANet because it was a complete mockery of their system.

I hope someone does a summary of leagues when its over. Because frankly the number of laughable design choices just…… I don’t even….

Tbh, can anyone offer how this ‘marketing’ ploy helped GW2 in anyway?

A warrior, a guardian, and an elementalist walk into an open field…
The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
