Amount of heroes that dies due to suicidal noobs is such a giant waste of souls that there can be absolutely no justification for it except for “hue hue we destroy ur world because we want to”, which as someone shrewd may notice isnt a justification at all.

Solution would be that downed hero assumes a ghost form, does not contributes to caps, invulnerable, does no damage (although perhaps he can use some supportive abilities as ghost), can slowly fly around and very slowly revives naturally which can be speeded up by teammates.
