Is it so hard to put someone in solo queue to replace a missing member. If somone is missing from a team for 10 seconds there should automatically be a replacement. Is that really so hard?

I think few people would want to join in such a situation.

What if, instead, they opted to have a system that would sub a player out of the opposing team?

Say the match just turns into a 4v5 (someone leaves) a pop-up would appear asking who would like to volunteer to sit the match out (15 second timer) if noone chose, a random player would be put into spectator, making it a 4v4.

Very rarely does a match go below 4, so it would work in theory…maybe

I very rarely get 4v5’s anymore, and am happy for that. At this point, I personally would rather they spend their dev resources on more pressings issues. Do you get that many actual 4v5s (besides games where someone afk’s)?
