Replica Job o Tron backpack
I was also really REALLY interested in buying that lil bugger too but is it true it is silent in a pvp match?

Same here, fix this pls.
I noticed this too, disappointed
I have yet to try it in WvW though, I don’t do much PvE, so if that is the ONLY place it talks, I lost alot of gold for nothing of value to me.
lol we dont need clutter sound effects in pvp too some of us actually listen to the effects while we play
Would sure make it easier to find the real mesmer or stealthed thieves

It works on phantasm/clone backs outside of PvP. Problem resolved.
Does it work now? I saw engi in enemy team with that backpack and I saw it said something but my audio was muted though.

I really don’t see why this doesn’t work in pvp.
It works in solo queue at least. I just had a match where the mesmer on our team used it and it was talking.
The problem with it is that Replica has kinda very few quotes in pvp.
Besides, if esportz are the problem, just mute the backpiece for other players and make pop-up chat sentence only visible for one with Replica equipped.

Yes, you can’t allow the backpack to talk in pvp and tpvp on the day of its release than patch it so it doesn’t the next day. That’s just rude. I wouldn’t have bought it if I would have known it would do that.
Also, its hardly distracting and no different than when classes shout an get buffs, or switch attunements players talk anyway! MAKE THE BACKPACK TALK EVERYWHERE.
I could outrun a centaur!
Yeah, obviously everything the characters say is highly important in a match. If there is that much sound issue remove all the completely useless things characters say at random.
