WTB report option for leavers/afkers….i don’t understand why it is still not in game?

Person feeds enemy half match, rages and leaves match and doesn’t get punished in any way for ruining match for other players. Why is it ok?

I think part of the problem is when people have their PC lock up sometimes you are still in game for a while. I have had that happen with people running into walls for a while. You cannot assume everyone who is not answering you should be reported. Many people do not watch game chat anyhow, and only play via voice coms. Sometimes it is difficult to determine who is afk and who is not, that is why they just boot them from wvw if they are inactive too long instead, however in pvp it should allow players to leave the match. I think when they DC it still keeps them there and doesn’t allow them to be replaced as it should.

Except some players are literary trolling

You think they are trolling….some probably are. Maybe some are just brand new and have no idea what they are doing. They are just blood thirsty running around trying to win outnumbered fights to prove they are awesome. You don’t know. Unless they start typing troll things in chat to confirm troll, you could just be trying to ban new players. Not sure that will help the player base.

Maybe the rest of their team went to home and they realized they were fighting a losing battle. It is extremely aggravating to be grouped with four players who have no clue.

According to “metrics” it’s illogical to have 4 experienced players + 1 inexperienced compared to 4 nabs + 1 know.what.to.do.com

srsly though, the guy was talking crap in team chat and then left on purpose

So, in another thread about afkers, leechers and feeders, someone claimed a Dev once said to report AFKers for botting. They’d look at the game and sort it out, as AFKing and the like could be seen as match manipulation.

It does seem like a good idea;however, can you clarify a couple of points?
-“Feeds Enemy Half Match”
Do you mean they are purposely running out and dying or that they are just
unskilled players?

-Are you talking about Unranked /Ranked matches or Practices?

The Idea is good, but my main concern is this:
Player 1 (lets call him Billy) has not played the game in a while (3-4 months) let’s say that Billy decides to play unranked arena. Billy does not know any better and believes his build that he was playing before is still viable. After two minutes of play, Billy gets killed over and over again. Billy is legitimately trying to win but he just can’t stay alive long enough.

Under the purposed idea of reporting for feeding, does Billy get reported and punished? If so, what type of punishment is suitable so that Billy will be able to continue to play PvP?

The main reason I bring this up, is that with an expansion coming up, you may have returning players who do not know that their builds may be behind the curve.
