Is this really too much to ask? I can deal with the lowbies, the “I’ve never played this map before” players, even the hotjoin heroes. But please do something about the afk leechers. Every second solo queue tournament, I have someone afk at spawn for the entire duration of the match.

Considering that there is no option to report someone for being afk, I assume you want us to report these players for botting.

Out of five matches i got two matches with one afk player. So where is my report afk button? Whats so kitten hard to check if a player moves and does damage(or capture a point)? I just wasted 30 minutes of my life in a match we could only win against untrained monkeys (beause of their number advantage). When there are only four player playing give them a surrender button and the winning team gets a better rating and the surrendering team doesnt change there rating.

ANet announced something against leavers, but as usually, their system is only half made, so people just [ej ef kej] (sorry about this, but forum dont let me write it, no idea why) instead of leave and yes, they can push a button every few mins so they dont get kicked if there some afk kick system…

Anet needs to re-hire Dhuum to do the banning in-game.

Any response from the anet team on this issue would be nice. Please fix the afk problem.

something has to be done with afkers/leavers in soloQ, i dont know if there is any punishment already but if there is its not enough for sure.
In ten matches during last 2 days i think 2 times i managed to see a match with no afkers/leavers in either team.
Seriously, there should be a temp-ban after 2-3 matches quitted and an option for the team to kick players afk, so they get the punishment aswell.

Bullkitten. They afk because splitting the queues made the waiting times for a game ridiculously long. Not that it justifies it, I’d also like an option to report them, but that’s why it’s done. You really think anyone sits in front of their comp[uter watching the spawn point? They go off and watch tv, come back to check if they’re in, notice they’re not, and leave again.

Hey, I now alternate between reporting afk players for botting or scamming.

If you do not have 30 mins available, do not queue for a tournament. It’s bad style to ruin a match for four players just because you can.

I’m still surprised we don’t have a Negative Attitude report button. Sometimes the guy isn’t using offensive language but he is constantly whining and that makes the team’s perfomance drop, besides its annoying as kitten.

Uhm, I don’t expect people to be rays of sunshine in my matches. However, I do expect them to show up and play to the best of their ability.

Playing to the best of their ability and constantly whining in map chat about X teammate that is doing Z are completely opposite things that can’t coexist

Be that as it may, the chance of getting an option to report players for being away from keyboard in tournies is much higher than requesting your “negative attitude report button.” I will take a whiney player over an absent one any day.

Till i see an officel word from anet i doubt it. And if you are 3 minutes from an max 15 minutes match away your team is very likely to lose or so frustrated from getting farmed thakittens hard to turn it around.

Anet can only be kidding, what the reason for not having a system to punish AFK, open your eyes and look at the league of legends system, I’m tired of having to waste my time with AFK, I can not report or even quit the game . sorry for the question but you guys are an online gaming company? why is it news that systems like this have to exist in every game, how many more years need to fix? Please let me know when you decide to do something about it, because you can bet I’m done buying gems until I can “kill” these afk.

Why did you buy gems in the first place? : D Do you truly think that this kind of development should be supported?

• report afk/idling for botting as there is no other option that woud fit more -> they tend to keep moving to avoid autodetect kick
• add GW1 feature: /resign
  4 reports on an afk player should count as +1 resign.

I’d like a better system to start matches since many matches I don’t have even have a 5th teammate from the start of the game. Why did the match allow to start? When the timer hits 0 if there are not 10 people it should give a 30 second waiting period where if the 10th player does not show up, match is cancelled and all back to mists. And the 10th player gets a stack of dishonorable as well, just like they would have if the match had actually been played (this is important to prevent people from just exiting matches they don’t like the looks of)

Not only for afk – need one for bad play also, which means that you wont be queued with the guy for 1 week again.
