Hey, Anet you need to have a report system that if someone quits or leaves you can report them. because its crap that trolls and people that just want to be kitten. it sucks for the rest of us actually trying to play.

And what would reporting them do exactly? Are you suggesting we ban people for getting disconnected? How would they know the difference between a person rage quitting and getting dc’d?

no not disconnecting…. quitting people just stop playing in the middle of the match. and no not banned… suspending them kind of way. give them like a 2 hour suspension with so many reports kind of deal

You are supposed to report them for botting, at least that is what we’ve been told in the past. Not sure if ANET actually takes any action on it though.

I was PvPing with some guildies and I received hate tells from someone I didn’t recognize telling me I was “cancerous” and that A-Net should “ban everyone like me.”

Apparently I DC’ed during a match at some point and it kittened this stranger off enough to add me to his friends list so he could tell me off when we were on again at the same time. I’ve never DC’ed on purpose in this game and up until that point hadn’t DC’ed – by accident or otherwise – in weeks (DC’ed today though, but got back in time to lose by 50 points).

Really don’t care about hate tells, I am just sad it was about some accident I don’t remember and not because I curb stomped him or trolled him. My point is, crap happens. About a month ago for an entire weekend I crashed every three matches so I had to stop doing pre-mades… Whatever methods used to filter out quitters would certainly flag that kind of pattern as suspend-able / bannable. There really isn’t anything that can be done besides a lock out.
