So, I have been reading the forums lately and people have requested that there be gold given for previous wins. I understand that this can’t happen due to the economy. They can’t risk an influx of gold throwing off the economic balance. That is complete understandable.
What I propose is to give something for previous wins that is not gold. The thing that most PvP players are behind (other than gold) is levels. If I would have spent as much time in PvE as I have in PvP, I would have 8 80s. Instead, I have 1 80 that was leveled via crafting and a bunch of level 2s
What about if we gave an equivalent number of tomes per tournament win. For instance, for every 10 wins, you get 1 tome. Then, people who spent time playing in tournaments and ended up with the lowest amount of glory (since it’s the lowest glory per hour rate) would be rewarded in some manner that in no way would effect the economy. This also creates a reward that someone that skyhammer farmed would get no benefit from.
Thoughts?

They do it all the time with PvE.
I have a lottery ticket I would like to retroactively be rewarded for in real life. Any chance?
