Guild Wars 2

So I’ll be returning to streaming in a bit as my summer wraps up and was wondering what class the community would be interested in seeing streamed at a high level of play. I’m kind of tired of elementalist and guardian, which are my main professions, so I’m looking to take on a third that the you will choose for me based on what has the most votes. I’ll also be leveling this character to 80 through pvp as I’m curious how long it will take me.

The choices will be thief, ranger, necro, mesmer, and engineer as warrior I can play already and find it kind of bland. The link to the strawpoll can be found here: http://strawpoll.me/2207111

Leave a comment below if there’s a certain build in particular you want me to play with the class you voted for. I’ll make a list of all the builds and if that class is chosen, I’ll spend some time playing each one that was suggested. I’ll leave the vote open for a week or so depending on when responses stop trickling in and will update with the winning class.

Just to point out there are a few good mesmers, thieves, and warriors streaming, but only one good necro and I can’t think of any ranger streams.

It’s just something that isn’t played that often in pvp IMO, and isn’t really considered in meta (unless you’re bullet). So it would be interesting to see it be played well.

My personal favorite default build is mesmer. 0-5-3-3-3 with solider amulet.

Well lucky for me I have a couple weeks to mentally prepare for this impending ranger creation… Gotta finish up my clinical and head back to school to move apartments/get the internet hooked up and the stream will be up and running.

Yea I’ve played ranger the least since it’s always been spirits or don’t play it and I never enjoyed that way to play. It’ll b rough for the first few days if ranger is what wins but I’m willing to make it work – especially since everyone is hyping ranger changes that are coming. If they do get great changes I’ll be ahead of the curve when it happens.

Well seeing as I enjoy pvp and this combat system is pretty fun, think I’ll stick with it.

I’m just going to say that every time I log into twitch.tv, all I see are THIEVES so many, Warriors, Guardians and sometimes Mesmers.

So my answer are Engineers (haven’t seen one all week when I login), Necromancers/Elementalists (see a few) and Rangers (never see them).

I could stream Ranger, but since it I play Power Ranger, it would so much less fun to watch than actually play… pew pew >.>

I find LB power ranger one of our best options right now, especially with the buffs inc. I also play a bunker condi build with pretty strong 1v1 capability.

I hate spirits so it will mostly be power ranger, I’ll try some trap ranger out, and beastmaster condi ranger has been fun from what I had tried.
