Revenant build!
Them minor traits tho! Basically they are like tankier and more effective necros :/
I was thinking about building my Rev too already. But i was thinking about a power-based one or even Cele. I would probably go 6 into Corruption too, with slightly different traits tho. The Heal on incoming Condition sounds pretty decent. The trait that triggers banish enchantment has a 25 sec ICD, so in my build the extra damage per condition might be worth it. Now I would go 6 into Invocation, mainly to pick up the trait that either heals or damages on Legend swap, the stun break minor trait and the trait that gives you 2 stacks of might every time you get below 50 Energy with no ICD.
Revenant seems way too cool to be true tbh.
I really hope 2nd proffs specialization will bring the current 8 proffs/same old kitten builds boredom to a next level.
This game needs this expansion soooooo bad.
this is what a necro should have been from day one of gw2. but with light armor insted of heavy. heavey counter to boon stacking classes, way to stick it…

I’m was considering a really tank 6 invocation 6 Retribution build and using hammer with ham4 and 1 to have crazy amounts of leeching (maybe even leeching/energy sigils).
Basically:
Adept.
Ret
- 50% chance when struck to gain endurance (15). 10s CD
-Gain stability for 2.5s after you dodge roll
-Take 5% reduced damage below the health threshold (50%, 10,396)
Inv
-Summon an orbiting globe of mist when you spend energy. The globe is destroyed upon legend swap.
Replenishing Globe: The globe heals allies and is destroyed when it passes through them (10s duration, 240 radius, healing: 430)
-Pull in and absorb all active replenishing globes when you invoke a legend. The healing from the globe has 50% more effectiveness.
-Invoking a legend is instantaneous and breaks stuns
Majors
Ret
-Foes that strike you from further away than the range threshold (600) deals 10% less damage.
-Gain 3s protection whenever you are disabled. 5s CD
-50% chance when struck to heal yourself (503). 4s CD.
Inv
-Using a heal skill grants you fury for 8s. 20s CD
- (major is in the between the 3)
- (option)The critical hit rate of fury has 50% increased effectiveness on you. Use if traited into fury master.
- (option) While your energy is above the threshold your outgoing healing is increased by 25% per target. When your energy is below the threshold the incoming damage to you is reduced by 10%. 50% energy threshold. Use if one of the other 2 master traits are taken.
Depending on the power tree and other power weapons some stuff could change. Regardless the last 2 are likely to go into the power tree not yet shown. Possibly two removed from Retribution to it as well.
Should provide for a high healing dps that’d be pretty fun to play. :}
