The leaderboards aren’t active right now. Ranked is just a smaller map pool.
Exactly. As long as people keep voting for courtyard, I’ll keep queuing ranked. Even during this beta.
TDM is never fun on a conquest build. At least not for me.
While I personally like Courtyard, I can understand this view point. I think it needs to go the way of Strongholds and have its own sign up. This would probably involve making another 1 or 2 maps though.
TDM is always interesting to me because each class has their own way to shine and it really puts more emphasis on rezzing/stomping targets.
This class is a burden to a team. Whichever team has the most revenant loses. No clue why the need to play an unfinished class in ranked when the unranked queues are shorter. Leaderboards are non functional but I thought ranked was reserved for those who are no longer experimenting but competing at a higher level.

lel got vs a 3 revenant premade yesterday while on marauder hambow…
won 1v2 far and still half hp…there was one more revenant guy coming from mid but he just ran away after looking at his mates getting rekt lmao
…they should finish it before letting ppl go suicide..
Usually most games release new slightly overpowered classes to increase the incentive to buy their game. Anet though… must not care very much at all even about business lel.

I took mine in and I was destroying people with it. Granted I found a very nice build a some very nice combos to use with it but I don’t see a problem with rev in ranked. It’s the best way to get a test for conquest as there is no chance of a TDM and frankly, there’s enough bad players in ranked pvp that bringing a rev in is the least of my concern

This is exactly why i wanted to make a post but since u already made one I’ll just comment.
Put revenant in unranked areana maybe or on a test server… but in ranked? there is always 1 or 2 people who don’t care about anyone else but themselves and when i tell them to go unranked instead because noone has any experience with revenant and is appearantly weak and incomplete. they say just say IDC or something and even refuse to reroll….
Shouldnt matchmaking separate ppl who just made the class from ppl who have been playing a class for months anyway??!?!?!
Solution: just forbid going ranked arena with experimental classes.
Its not so serious if you have lets say 1 revenant per team. But 2-3 your at a disadvantage since you have under half of your skills.
Played 2 ranked matches with revenant today. Did decently well with a celestial hammer build. One we won other one we lost since we had 1-2 ppl afking half of the match
This weekend is a Beta test weekend, so maybe don’t worry about Revenant in ranked. People are testing it, and they want to test it against competent opponents. I ran it a few times. My conclusion is that the skill activation times are too slow in this meta. By the time you use a skill you are toast against current meta. Only took a few matches to see that.
