From my point of view, nothing has changed in any possible way.

Since paid tournaments had been changed to single matchmaking queue, there were still awful queue times since I was winning alot therefore getting punished for winning alot of games and diminished rewards. Then they renamed paids to free, removed QPs (they didnt matter anyway) and it sounded like I should get to play more but I still get to wait 10 minutes average to face low ranked solo queuers because all the competitive players/teams quit (can’t blame them). That might not be the case on EU, but that’s how it is on NA servers.

You even get more glory from mindlessly zerging in hotjoins than you do in frees where you have better odds of actually improving at the game. What’s to do with glory right now anyway? Nothing but aesthetics.

Modern human logic: Stupidity is rewarded.

I really enjoy playing the game, but I do not feel rewarded whatsoever for anything I may accomplish, all competition is gone & it got worse than it used to be the past two attempts you tried to make it better. Wheres the incentive to play this game aka keep the players for the long run and push the players to be competitive in GW2 PvP?

@Devs: Your tactics at attempting to make GW2 PvP a more enjoyable experience were not well thought-out enough imho.

Share your opinion and PoV(both NA& EU), I would like to read about it.

Yep, incentive is running thin right now…

I hope there will be much more incentive by the time I hit 50, because once I do…there will be absolutely no point in playing with the current status of tpvp.

Even QPs, as worthless as they were, was something “rewarding” and was somewhat of a leaderboard type deal…

Forget about competition, there are even less people playing now than the last patch…we all know the 10-15 people still group up to play higher tier tpvp…otherwise all you get are 5v4s or solo qs of level 5s and level 10s.

Also, there is no point in fixing the rewards for 3-round tourneys when there aren’t even enough people q’ing for them to pop. Really pointless gesture…I think the devs just need to seriously sit down and listen to the only people remaining that still play.

We’re all hanging by a thread here…

nothing changed.

I’ve changed guild in order to do some PvP, all my guild went to PvE as soon as they removed paids and QPs.

I can’t even change server and go to a more PvP oriented one ( like Deso or Seafarer) because i mainly PvP and have no way to buy gems via gold.

There’s no incentive in playing tourneys, as soon as you are “slightly” better than the average pug

1. you get paired with premades when solo-queing, struggling to win if they’re not skilled or if you don’t have at least a couple of eles in your team ( since those classes are the best to carry a team when playing without coordination)

2. you wait for 5-10 mins if you’re queing with a group.

That’s all due to lack of players, caused by a total absence of incentives to play PvP.

ANET GIVE THOSE kittenING PVE CRAP AS REWARDS IN PVP, so that those PvE carebears will start to play PvP.

WE ARE TIRED OF THIS SITUATION.
