Rifle warrior struggles
what if we made the rifle projectile move like long bow but with rifle speed?
If this is an issue now I imagine it’ll only get worse as rifle specializations appear and more classes run into this.
Im not one to say how it should work but im just trying to point something out. For instance today in a mid fight in the temple of the silent storm. Im fighting a ranger 1 vs 1 at mid. Im winning and they decide to run and we were both in the cirlce. He switches to great sword and start to head up the the first pair of stairs. I switch to rifle and hit KILL SHOT and it says obstructed.
The player is literally 2 dodge rolls away and is simply turning the corner on the stairs. They havent made the corner and were on there way up. They were about to turn the corner and because of it my team lost points from a kill and respawn time.
Anytime a person isnt directly on the same level ground wise rifle happens to say obstructed or out of range when the person is clearly in range and in plain sight. Another huge problem im having but it goes for other classes too is that when a ranger pet is attacking me and it takes 3 sec for kill shot to go off. I end up hitting the pet since its right in front of me.
So many other classes get to put the aoe circle down to attack people and its just so difficult when you’re playing a strikeout or home run build and something like a player going up/down some stairs cant get hit by a kill shot when you looking right at them.

If i could share another for instance, this one was on the orb map. I was at the bridge connecting the steps to get to the corner caps and the mid. So im right on the brown part in front of the orb. I stood there and hit KILL SHOT and a player running past the orb didnt get hit. It said obstructed, all i want is for the shots that would make sense to land to land. I dont think they should project like bows because the bow looks awesome the way it is in the game.
I have no problem missing shots if they pop around a corner or even hide behind that barrel on legacy and it says obstructed. I hate when im on the legacy map and im at the bottom of the cap point shooting up at a player in the open lane side and there right in front of me and it says obstructed because it looks like my characters shot it directly into the cap spot.
Sorry ive played alot of games recently cause i really enjoy the new pvp but i would like to see a weapon of the game perform correctly. Too many times a kill or near death hasnt happened because the player is simply moving to a higher/lower ground level and is moving so it says obstructed.
