Rotations, my play style, wtf am i doing?
Hi there, I sent you a PM, send me a tell in game when you see me on, and I’ll mentor you.
Team: Blacklisted [Envy]
Every class is different, so playing with a different class can take a while to get used to. And having just played Warrior and then switching to Thief can be quite a transition if you are not used to playing Thief in the first place.
You might just stand there face tanking damage or perhaps blow away your initiative.
My suggestion would be:
- Get familiar with all class mechanics
- Figure out which one feels right / enjoy most (not which one is the most effective)
- Practice / watch gameplay
If you have 150 solo Q wins on a profession, you are probably doing ok.
Don’t over think things on classes, what wins games is mostly numbers. 4 people will always beat three people, 2 people will always beat one person. Skill doesn’t even matter. Downed state rez mechanics are such that the team with numbers will always win,
If you find yourself in an outnumbered situation, you are going to lose, so (1) Run, or (2) stall your (s) as long as possible. Consider either of those outcomes as wins, even though you are dead if you stalled them.
Because numbers are so important, matches often snowball after the first kill, especially on Foefire where the points are so far away from spawn and a death is more than a 30 second penalty.
So this means that if you want to wins games, you need to talk to your team ahead of time and make sure that you will not die first because you were outnumbered in the first fight.
never start the game by rushing far you are screwing your teammates in a very high risk low reward move. Make sure that your team has numbers advantages in all fights. If your team outnumbers the other team by 2, leave. If your team outnumbers the other team by 1 and has a favorable matchup, consider leaving.
Mostly never start the game by rushing far.
Occasionally you will get an aggressive player who rushes far on your team. If this happens, abandon capping the neutral home point so your team doesn’t die first and isn’t snowballed.
