I was wondering whether the runes and sigils on armor affect PvP stats during ranked matches, as I know that there are only two set options for weapons which override your standard.

PvP has completely separate runes and sigils

So you don’t need runes on armor, because there are none?

The armor you have on doesn’t mean anything. But there are still runes and sigils in the pvp tab.

The system is supposed to be easier for new players.

So only stuff in the PvP build tab has an effect as well as the armor your are wearing on your stats (but not their specific values as they are balanced to ‘exotic’ level).

So you could potentially have a level 1 armor set which has high precision/low power/low ferocity and then it will be set to the exotic values fitting the original ratios?
