New PVE runes seldom get added to PVP.

I have yet to see a new rune/sigil/skin from PVE added to PVP. The only thing we get from this department every update, is the gemstore/event skins. Hell, we don’t even have acess to the bank at the mists.
the runes still need fixing, unless u want them on a warrior that cannot only chain stun u with them, but also ad 5 stack of confusion for 10 seconds per interrupt! they are in wvw already and a warrior or engi with that rune applies confusion now better than a mesmer.
so before we are creating the next interruption confusion meta, anet might want to fix those runes( that either need a icd or remove the interruption part completely).

I would straight quit this kittening game if we see those PvE runes get added into PvP. Simply put they’re broken beyond all belief.

I agree with Ostrich here. If these were added to pVp in their current form, stunlock warriors would be even stronger, adding 9 stacks of confusion per interrupt (5 from runes + 4 from trait). These would break pvp in a bad way, as on a few classes they are WAY TOO STRONG. They already has some very negative effects in WvW (although they do open up some new builds on classes that were just barely vying for viability, like condi ele).

But yeah I’d like to see this effect as a trait on Ele, shame it would be broken as hell on everything else..

We tested these in WVW with a friend who was visiting an enemy server. Even with Melandru Runes and -40% cond duration food, it was near impossible to keep the confusion stacks down against an interrupt mesmer build. Being able to apply 20s confusion (due to +cond duration) on each interrupt, with no ICD, and constantly interrupt your opponents heals/some cleanses is so wrong. Let’s not even bring up what thieves can do with these. You don’t want them in PVP.
Strangely enough multiple patches have passed and they haven’t altered the runes for wvw yet… the torment ones were nerfed quickly…

Torment runes were gamebreaking, these are ‘merely’ severely unbalanced. They will get nerfed, but it will take a bit longer.

yeah true, the tormenting runes were very op in the begining. 25 stacks torment, no problem for engi and mesmers, thats why it got fixed so fast. unfortunately, 20 seconds is a little harsh imo.
