S/D Elementalist tPvP - arenas video 2015
You’re hardly doing any damage in this video. Aim your spells, don’t just waste them for healing.
Ty for your advice but I would not change my gameplay. Tpvp are about survivability and cooperation for me (and I hope that for a lot of us). It isn’t all only about doing the highest dmg, at least in tPvP not.

Thanks for the shoutouts man. It’s a really fun build. I miss it!

ok i get it that you like arent necessarily looking for gameplay advice or critiques or something but your attitude leaves me scratching my head. because if you have the rotations for survival down, there isnt really a point in missing them when you could hit them and both heal and do damage.
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions

I am glad that I see also any positive commentary and when I saw name of my mentor I was “double” cheered. Thank you Phantaram!

At 1:30 you are at full hp and are running to high ground. During this time your necro ally has feared a guardian – which you could have instantly killed. Instead you give the guardian a huge opportunity to survive by actually leaving the point and not looking at anything. More often than not, that extremely conservative decision kill meow your kittenbox into a purr purr purr. Doesn’t look like good teamwork to me.
I fight people, sometimes they kill me, sometimes I kill them. Fun is had by all. [/quote]

I know exactly what you mean and it isn’t only at the time you posted. It is very problematic to find a compromise betweet teamwork and make an atractive video for viewer so I mainly focused at hunting and killing enemyes which I nornaly do not and the other way around I try to playing team-coop mainly.

I am very glad to hear it and thank you very much for your nice feedback too.

I’m not at all saying you need to be doing the highest damage, but your build requires you to hit spells to do any. You’re running valk amulet based on your health pool and runes of strength. For you to not hit a spell when running a non Fresh Air based build or DD, limits your defensive and offensive capabilities. Sure you can run around healing with your water attunement and evasive arcana, but what’s the point in doing that and no damage at all, it’s essentially the same as running something like cleric or sentinel amulet and hitting all your spells.
You’re playing this build somewhat like a pseudo D/D ele, where you are just running around, eating damage. The difference is you aren’t dealing much back, as S/D if you are not doing damage you will not win a fight nor will you impact your team in any manner.
I don’t mean to sound harsh if I do; I never post on this forum, but what made me come here to read and post was “S/D Ele…”.
I literally exclusively play S/D Zerk and have been since Beta. I don’t claim to know everything there is about S/D nor am I attempting to imply it, but you seem to be quite misinformed on the basic functions of a S/D ele. S/D is a damage weapon set, almost all of S/D’s tools are based around doing damage, if you’re not hitting that damage you aren’t worth much in any situations that could occur in a game.
You’ve kitten yourself a great deal with this build and play style.

Thank you for your objective criticism. I perceive it positive. Every reaction is inspiring for me. I play ranked arenas with my companions every day and I haven’t still problems to play good with this build (I think that it is because I train one build two, maybe three years yet). Ofcourse in ESL or Tournament there could be a problem, but in classic ranked games where fun is primary this build is ideal for me. Today I tried to make pure Celestial ele and I would like switching it. It looks funny too.
