This is my new build. Tested it on Hotjoin but somehow, I don;’t feel like satisfied with this build. I need some input regarding the build. Thanks for the help.

10/30/0/10/20 Fire XI/Air XI X XII/Water V/Arcane V VI

Runes of Eagle, Berzerk Amulet/Jewel

S/D : Sigils of Fire and Force.

Ults: Arcane Blast, Arcane Wave,Mist Form.

Heal: Signet of Restoration

Elite: Glyph of Elemental.

Here’s the thing:
Valkyrie gear usually works better in this build than berserker, because you’ll have enough critical chance with fury and a precision sigil, and valkyrie offers better defensive stats for an elementalist. Valkyrie amulet with berserker jewel seem to be the most popular combo for this build.

Runes of Divinity or Scholar are usually better. All divinity’s stats are useful to an elementalist, while still offering excellent critical damage; and if you know how to play around it, scholar’s +10% damage is big.

You can maybe consider switching Mist Form for the new Arcane Shield. It’s defensively a bit weaker (not always noticeable), but it deals good damage, and should you spec Arcane Mastery trait in arcana (over renewing stamina), you’ll also be able to spec it more often than mist form. But Mist Form is still good in that slot.

I don’t think any adept/ master trait in fire is worth it, imo.

The dislike thing about Scholar is if u fall below 90% health, u will lose the +10% boost dams which I find it more often in team fight or even 1v1. With Eagle, while it does not offer boost dams as much as Scholar does (10% vs 5%) but it boost more often since in team fight, once a player getting focus, his health drop below 50% pretty fast, save for Bunker Engine and Bunker Guardian.

I may try a the com Valk with Berserker Jewel. But there is also a reason why I choose Zerker over Val for extra Vit. The weekness of this build is Condi Cleanse, so more Health Pool is better than Big Toughness in my opinion.

Arcana Shield is good. However, it is so easy to be removed. It can only block 3 attacks, if a player skill enough, they just auto attack Arcane Shield bf go for burst. Plus in team fight, where AOE is everywhere, Shield will be removed even faster.

I will try the Val/Zerker Jewel to see how it goes. Thanks for the input.

I disagree w/ the call in using Valkyrie. Your health will be 11k vs 14k. With the meta being so condi heavy that’s not exactly the best move.

Playing this spec, valk or beserk you have to have a playstyle of kill them before they kill me anyway, better to stick with Berserker IMO.

Divinity is a good call for runes. I would take the 10 out of fire and put that back into arcana for evasive arcana. Evasive arcana is just to good; you can use it for condi clears or offensive depending on your attunment.

Also; since you are so squishy. I would swap out arcane blast with lightning flash. You can use lightning flash for a range of things; offensive; defensive, but most of all an oh crap button to get you out of there and have you team mates peel for you. Other than that; looks good.

The build your running wont work for 2 reasons.

1) Not enough effective health
2) If you don’t have 30 arcana, your going to be stuck in air longer than you want.
3) you put trait points into fire. Bad Ele. Shame on you. Go have a timeout. (Lol.)

Try divinity runes.

Thanks for the reason you list but they are 3 reasons in total, not 2. I am trying to move away from 30 Arcane since it is only needed for Bunker Build with EA. For an offensive build, 20 Arcana to me is sufficient. You can even search for all our Offensive Builds, then tell me how many are there that put 30 in Arcana. Well, and also the reason you call me bad Eles because I put t into Fire, then I pretty sure there are a lot of bad Eles out there who want to play offensively? Then again you must possess some amazing skill, to be on top than the rest of us. In my topic, I seeks for more opinion to perfect my build, not looking for trouble by insulting other. Please restrain yourself from doing so in the future. I welcome any idea that for the better and despise any insult. If you don’t have anything to contribute, please consider to shut yourself up, much appreciated.

I think he was mostly joking as the ele fire tree is by far the worst — I wouldn’t take his comment personally. Additionally, EA is so versatile. You can dodge in fire > Fire Grab, use the water heal both selfishly and in order to save your teammates, air for general goodness, and earth to secure kills/escape/support with cripple. Moving the 10 points out of fire and into arcana will make you much more versatile and give you utility that will make killing things easier.

I’ve been playing a 0/30/0/10/30 s/d build with valkyries (zerk gem) and the same utilities as you and it’s been very strong. Ogre runes are also an option and with valk’s instead of zerker Sigil of Accuracy could be taken over Force, though it’s really splitting hairs at that point. The combat for this patch in general feels a bit faster pace (and losing 15-20 in water is noticeable) but this build’s pressure is fantastic.

As for the valk/zerk argument — yes, the ‘meta’ (the patch is 4 days old >.>) is condi heavy, but much of it is avoidable — eles have always been most susceptible to quick burst, imo, and toughness/healing goes a long way.

eagle runes are awful, if you want to use power runes instead of using divinity, go for Ogre x6, they offer the highest damage even without factoring the rock dog.

Valk is better than zerk. The health difference doesn’t make it better. If you get caught, you dropp instantly. The additional crit-chance from beserker-amu is not needed and makes no difference dmg-wise.

Besides that I would take out the 10 on fire and bring them for water or arcana traitline.

I think they are pretty even myself, but yeah those extra stats on Divinity are put to very good use by elementalists.
