My buddy bought Gw2 this weekend for the pvp. He has played 10 or so matches of unranked pvp and it seemed like he was having a decent time. Once we played stronghold though, he was having a blast. He loved it. He told me it was 10x more fun than conquest. When I told him it was only for the day he was so upset ranting on how this map is so much better than the conquest maps, and I’d have to agree with that statement.

Stronghold is the most fun pvp game mode I played in any MMO (excluding gw1) in a long time. Please release it before the expansion Anet <3 It really does seem ready to go and the game will get many new players even before the expansion releases.

I don’t understand this game mode very well yet. But it seems a large number of games I played so far are blowouts with minimum PvP action. Not sure what went wrong.

The thing is so many people dont understand the map atm so you will barley see any pvp right now. When I played my first game with a premade we vsed 3 Anet devs and their team. The whole time there was pvp action going on. In the defending and attacking lane. It really is a L2P issue right now.

Yeah, Stronghold has potential if they make it a little more about pvp. All that’s missing is like 15 more stronghold maps so that there is some variety in there…

Tbh, to me it felt like there was a lot of pvp going on. When I played games with clueless people then there would be no pvp…well there would be but it would be me defend against 5 people. When I played with a premade vs premade there was a lot of kitten going on and a kitten ton of pvp.

They really do need to make like 5 more of these maps for variety.
