So I’ve played few solo q games, and so did my team. We had about 15 matches in total. Every match was either 4v5 – 5v4 – 4v4 – 5v3. The amount of leavers is just ridiculous. Is there a ban time on these leavers yet? It’s getting out of hand. In my opinion it should be at least 1h solo q ban for them for leaving!

It’s because pvp is now accesible from everywhere. I’ve had leavers 50% of the time. It’ll get better when they learn there’s dishonorable now and the shinieness wears off.

from patchnotes: “Leaving rated arena games will punish players with a Dishonorable debuff. Each stack of dishonor lasts for 72 hours. If a player has the maximum amount of dishonor (5 stacks), they will be prevented from joining rated games.”

as i understand it is ‘allowed’ to leave 4 times within 3 days, though it doesnt say how long the ban will last

Probably 72 hours by the looks of it, or whatever amount of time is left for being dishonorable within period of time between resets.

That or one hour? I have no idea. But in any case, I’m not playing Solo Arena until they remove Skyhammer from it. Spirit Watch is hardly tolerable in how it serves as a Death Match for most people who play it … but I’d take that over Skyhammer any day.

They’ll just leave 4 times and stop leaving until the debuff is gone… better to do an immediate but relatively short punishment IMO

I played 13 soloq matches so far and had a leaver on only my first one, and that was myself my gw2 crashed.

I just played 4 games soloqueue.
I won 1 game due to leavers, i lost 3 games due to leavers. So there were not a single 5vs5. What to do?
The “punishment” you use now isn`t working at all, make people scared of leaving. In my Opinion you should be able to leave 3 Games a month (for the people with bad internet connection). If you leave more u´ll get banned from Gw2 for 1 day, next time 1 week, next time 1 months, next time permanent ban.
You should protect your tiny amount of tpvp-players, or you leave them alone with all those leavers till even the last bit of, your somehow still standing, pvp-comunity leaves the game forever.
No offense, but how you handle with leavers is just… i dont want to say stuff like that.

^ comments like these are make me glad you guys are not developers. The reality is that this is going to happen until the fresh Solo queue smell leaves. So you can either deal with it or wait a few days.

This needs to be tightened up to something like 2 leaves in 24 hours and on the 3rd the debuff. If your internet is that bad that you get disconnected all the time for periods longer then about 10 minutes you shouldn’t be doing tpvp anyway.
