Stop changing stuff and let the meta settle!
THANK YOU <3
90% of the players are just lazy and don´t want to take effort in learn how to counter and play against in and new situations
L2p has always been the best excuse for bad class balance.
and nerf always for lazy players that are afraid of changes
Would be nice if Druid/Ranger didn’t get a nerf every five minutes.
Having a stagnant meta full of faceroll builds for months is both boring and not fun. I’m sure some people want to keep their “I-WIN” buttons, but actual good players will always find a way to perform well, regardless of how often skills are being changed. Other games have a balance patch every 1-2 weeks, and they do just fine with developing a meta.
This patch that they did was seriously the best balance patch arenanet has done in so long, why do people complain when they finally react quickly and not too drastically? I feel bad for them considering how they can never make forums content.
^ Usually only characer that i play on
This rapid balance pace for the elite specs is good. Some of them are way too powerful or cheesy.

because removing an amulet, 2 rune sets and altering several traits is not drastic

This I do agree with, but I just wish they weren’t so prone as to nerf things into the ground. BB was op pretty much because of boon spam from other classes, but instead of putting an ICD, or reworking the trait so that that you didn’t have crazy amounts of helping and life force influx in teamfights from revs, eles, and guards, they made it selfish and only work with the very little boon generation necro has. Without it I don’t see how reaper is gonna be able to sustain itself in teamfights.
They need to keep doing this on a continuous basis for the next short while. Like many above me have said, the elite specs are a bit over the top right now. So funny how people cry when Anet doesn’t balance for a long time and now that Anet is balancing frequently, people still cry. I for one am happy that Anet is balancing things quickly rather than waiting 3 months like the d/d ele “nerf”.
Sorry OP, I 100% disagree.
This rapid change and balance is exactly what the game needs, some stuff is OP and needs the nerf hammer.

Pleaaaase stop nerfing stuff without it giving a chance to settle.
Stop giving in to players who simply havn’t learnt to counter stuff and cry OP.
Let the dust settle and then see what needs to be changed.
+1
The nerf to the revenant didn’t make much sense to me. It is a brand new class that has been out for only 4 days before they nerfed it. That is hardly enough time for even the players dedicated to the class to master it.
And rangers has been the biggest roller coaster rider from over buff to over nerf in a span of 48 hours.
Sorry OP, I 100% disagree.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Please provide us stats on what you considered OP. I am curious.

I agree on the d/d ele, that was honestly a joke for how long that stayed meta. Got so bad even ESL had to add restrictions to them.
However 4 balance patches in one week is a bit over the top. I was expecting once a week at best which accounts for enough time to accumulate enough data. Right now it feels like they are just guessing.
And calling out anet to slow down isn’t crying when it is justified. The countless OP threads which had no stats, screens, or justification behind them is crying. I am not saying pvp is balanced or there is no OP classes. I am simply saying base it on stats not on player feedback which is so lopsided at the moment.

I disagree with the OP as well, there are some skills/traits that are obviously too strong and they’ve done a good job bringing them down a bit. It doesn’t take months to figure out what’s incredibly op and what isn’t. My hats off to them.
Edit: Some skills/traits still need tinkering but with the pace we’re going, it’s very nice.
L2p has always been the best excuse for bad class balance.
Who uses that as an excuse? It is true. L2P improves individual gameplay…..
On the flip side calling a class OP is a poor excuse for being outclassed. Play the class first before calling it OP seems like a better perspective.
I was going to disagree with you, but after the changes to BB (like someone said, a simple ICD of 1 sec could have done the trick), has completely ruined the reaper. (well not really but Hyperbole).
So we have a class with a bad AA, an overrated skill with a long aftercast, a barely functional pull skill. A weak Class mechanic.
Would be nice if Druid/Ranger didn’t get a nerf every five minutes.
While it would be nice it would take Anet actually giving a kitten about them and not them wanting nerfed into uselessness.

I agree that the first set of balance changes should’ve come at least 1 month into the expac. This wackamole balancing is silly. Please let people get used to the new mechanics, etc and then balance accordingly.
Other than fixing outright bugs or unintended functionality, I agree that the meta should settle for at least 1 month before balance changes come in. Otherwise Anet is actually setting the meta for us. Not good.
Anet are doing a good job with balance fixes, imo. They haven’t done anything drastic like Duuhmfire in a long time. These nerfs are mainly QoL, “that’s obviously op”, items.
Across-the-board nerf/buff on all classes should occur after every 3rd or 4th ESL tournament. Lets face it, the first ESL was a build + team composition test run for everyone.

I don’t understand where people are coming from with this suggestion at all. You realize a one second cool down is exactly the same as the current nerf and more? Reapers can already gain might once or more per second meaning the trait would still block out ally booms from healing us in team fights because that goes over the reapers one might per second, on top of any other might stacking source the reaper equipped.
Honestly I don’t think that nerfed was justified whatsoever, the trait was the perfect trade for shroud blocking all incoming heals along with us having no blocks or invulnerabilities. People were just adamant on being able to focus the necromancer as per usual to win team fights.

Robert Gee said they looked at some of those solutions internally, but it didn’t work out.
