There are lots of below average players in ruby and diamond. People snowballing into bad fights, no rotating home on respawns, poor builds, you name it. We don’t need this in ruby and diamond. You go from only needing 5 wins to progress in sapphire to needing to complete the whole division to progress in ruby. Need to up sapphire to at least 8 pips per tier to progress.

division – per tier
amber – 3 pips
emerald – 4 pips
sapphire – 5 pips

I agree with the level of players on Ruby/Diamond but it is not the amount of pips that matter, which they farm sooner or later.

It’s the loss of Tiers that would help slightly.

Ruby being the first where u can lose tier is creating a bottleneck for exp/good players being stuck with less good.

Same problem as with S1 and S2. Some escape that mmr hell through carrying very hard or luck with matchmaking.

ah there’s no need to mention ruby diamond legendary since all the remaining three divisions have 5 pips per tier.
