Hey all. In the name of getting better at playing gw2, I am trying to work on saving my dodges for hard hitting skills. I am not very good at it yet – still having difficulty knowing when one of those skills is coming and reacting in time.

Anyone have advice for practicing how to save your dodges for an enemy’s money shot skills?

Most money shot skills are very telegraphed but not only that I would try learning rotations and what to expect. Depending on what class your playing also influences how you want to avoid damage. You may have access to a lot of evades or protection or imvulnerabilities or blinds or fears so all of that also plays into how much you should be dodge rolling. Your best bet is to try running with energy sogils so you getb1 more roll every time you swap weps until you’re comfortable identifying what you want to avoid. Also go spectate and play other classes to see the best counters to those money shot skills.

Hey, I think you can really learn a thing or two if you play every single class a sufficient amount of time. I think that will help you avoiding burst. Starting out that was my problem too. But, I started playing other classes for while and got a taste of each of the rotations. on other classes.

Look into endurance regeneration. Things that give you Vigor.

Spam as much dodge as you can is better tactic in most situations.
