ok… no, Scrapper is not “stronger” than Holo. Simply cause Scrapper is a support spec for Engi. Scrapper has more sustain than Holo for sure, Final salvo, Rapid Regen, evade/blocks… but it does NOT do more damage than what Holo can output… Comparing you and your friend isn’t a solid answer for it, you could possibly just be better than your friend at engineer.

Scrapper also has better 1v1 potential (in that mu) just cause it has better sustain.

Its just too hard to give up on function gyro though!

i wanted to see what would happen if you teamed up a scrapper and a holosmith and let the holosmith give the scrapper perma super speed for regen ticks so the scrapper could tank for the holosmith and keep him upright

It really depends on what you want.

When I tested the holo saturday, I quickly realized what it was: basicly a berserker (I havent played the new warrior elite, so HoT is my reference). You got damage, you got mobility, you got many of the defensive capabilities of an engie. Its gonna be a good +1 I imagine.

The scrapper however still remain the supreme stomper/resser and multitasker in skirmishes that’s larger than just duels or +1 on already engaged 1v1. 2v2, 3v3, unless the enemies are fools that stack on top of each other I think the scrapper has more utility. Then again we are talking sPvP, everyone are forced to be fools that stack on top of each other.

Scrapper is still pretty strong against the new specs. Good to see imo.
