Warriors are the fastest profession on the map. DH has more mobility than Mesmer and a significantly bigger burst.

War has a huge window of damage immunity. And now War jumps like a freaking Mesmer.

I have myself advocated for a relatively easy class for new people to play. The thing of it is: It looks like favoritism. That’s especially true when the Khylo map was recently modified to make things even easier for the heavy classes.

Anet loves warriors, like…favourite son, nothing that you say or do will ever change anything.

But hey warriors are perfectly allowed to do that…but let us make sure we nerf https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ride_the_Lightning because we don’t want eles to be able to jump from platform to platform like warriors can

Well they burn a dodge, a weapon swap, and a weapon skill to do that. I don’t particularly see the issue.

Also mesmers can pull just as much bull with phase retreat.

But thanks for sharing the video so that all the warriors in the game will know this trick, I certainly didn’t know it and I’ve never seen anyone else do it either. Practicing it now!

Mesmers jump? I always thought they ported or blinked or whatever, and pretty sure warriors can’t port or blink. So……..over-exaggerating a bit here maybe?

I doubt this is intentional. now that you’ve posted it there is a good chance anet will take a look at it.

ok I’ve been trying that combo. It’s really flipping hard. I had to completely redo my binds just to pull it off.

It’s definitely a skill thing, and it’s much harder to do than Mesmer phase retreat exploits.

Mesmer… doesn’t compete for the same role as either of those classes. It’s a utility class that can absolutely turn the tides with one good portal.

And while I’m all for build diversity, there will always be a class that fulfills a specific role in a team composition better than another, whether it be from your team’s class lineup or the enemy’s.

This is a problem because it was nerfed on other professions and I see no reason why warriors should be allowed a free pass.
Eles were able to jump and use rtl to reach next platform..apparently that was an exploit and had to be nerfed but it’s ok for warriors to exactly do the same thing with leaps…

I think if you’re using dagger as an offhand as an ele in this day and age you’ll have more of a problem than this issue.

Warrior sustain vs all damage types is over-tuned. I will agree to this point.
