Search and Rescue is Absolutely Absurd

First or second teleport?
Yes, yes it is… Especially when you ignore the ranger and ally he is trying to revive. Here are some strategies you can use to make it less absurd:
1. Attack the Ranger (I know, I know, it’s nearly impossible to do)
2. Cleave
3. Drop AoE
4. Interrupt
5. Type the following into team chat: “focus Druid pls”
6. Go on forum and beg for Druid to be nerfed into oblivion, again.

Just put a target on the Druid, kill him and win.
People are too busy complaining they cant focus the necromancer.

Thank goodness tourney teams are limited to 1 Druid only, people would definitely stack them for their superior rez skills.
If that Druid is any kind of competent, he’ll likely teleport his ally away from the zerg fiesta AoE area. By the time you focus target the druid, he’ll likely already rez his ally (he only needs 3s to do so).
They’re interruptable but not everyone has an instant teleport + CC skill on hand like a Guardian.
I’m not saying Druids needs a nerf (you can’t stack them in ESL), i’m just saying they’re incredibly hard to deal with in non-regulated SoloQ matches where a team has two Druids. It’s pretty much an insta win for them.

Easiest way.
Druids are fine. Easily killable with horrible DPS (aside from pet burst which is easy to dodge).
This is a L2P issue plain and simple.
lol @ Druids are easily killable.
If you are killing Druids easy, you are playing against bads. Go queue pls.

If you are playing solo q (which 95% of your argument) then I can see why you are saying druids are not easily killable.
Against an organized team, 2v1 CC condition a point holder druid is easily doable.

Depends on what you play; a good reaper will kill all druids quite easily. Unless the druid catches and manages to keep the reaper at max range and with no deatshroud.
In teamfights druids melt vs reapers. No skill in the world can safe him. He needs a team with heavy peels…even vs a single reaper.

Yeah stacking search and rescue would be such a good strategy. /s
If at any point a nerf needs to happen then force the pet to run to the target before it can teleport back to ranger. But then also nerf mesmer portal please.

Druid meta build is more easy to kill than following classes:
- necro
- thief
- revenant
- dh
- scrapper
Menders is as tanky as Marauder amulet. The high healing doesn’t matter since cc is required to kill stuff anyway.
and we all know how druid is lacking of CC… /facepalm

No way. Maybe one or two of those. Can we have an honest discussion without fudging the facts? I am not sure this skill is op or not I am going to have to see it in practice in something more then unranked but I am leaning toward op because it is close to a guaranteed rez with good players and I thought we wanted to stop things like that hence why Mesmers got nerfed. A timely rez can be a fight turner A-net has to be very careful with trivializing them in any way shape or form.

Thanks for pointing that out. How hypocritical of people seems mostly fine with this Search & Rescue buff, but Chronobunker rezzing is so terrible.
The sPvP community just have a thing against Mesmer, pure and simple. Every class can be in meta, but if Mesmer made it there ONCE, they had to cry and kitten to get it class out of the meta.

Yes, it is a strong shout, and if well timed and you have a perfect positioning it’s a free ress since you can leave pet ress while you go back to fight or defend pet and your mate. Btw since thief go back from oblivion he can teleport and daze him force de druid to let just the pet ressing..or dye trying.
Or simply focus ranger he will fight mid back upping from far most of the time.so if you don’t see him mid send someone to far to keep him busy or for kill him and fight mid..sure it’s a risk since you have to manage a 4vs4 leaving close uncovered but you can let them make a choice forcing you to go back close if they have a roamer or try to keep fighting 3vs4 mid thing possible if they have a scrapper. So depends on opponents classes.
I will kill fruid first as priority..sure if you are in solo q depends how smart and collaborative are your mates..
