Season 5 Leaderboard Integrity

Producer: WvW, PvP, and Fractals

We have received several reports of players participating in activities that are detrimental to the accuracy and fair competition of the Leagues Season 5 leaderboards. After conducting an investigation of the current leaderboards, we’ve decided to take action against a number of accounts. These accounts will be removed from the leaderboard and restricted from playing in rated arenas for the remainder of the season.

Season 6 will have changes to help ensure the leaderboard is accurate and fosters healthy competition. We are excited for the final days of Season 5 to see what people achieve!

GOD BLESS ANET. Now I can secure my 400 game hard earned spot in the top 100 (last 50 games almost all soloQ except 2) and all these people who were exploiting the system get what they deserve; nothing. Next season you should implement soloQ only for players on the leaderboard and it’ll be perfect.

I just want to give you ANet a huge round of applause. I truly didn’t think yall had it in yall. I’m just very happy that yall proved me wrong. This is a very good step, for PvP in GW2. Don’t settle here tho, and keep making strides, to getting PvP in GW2 on the road towards stardom.
