Multiple matches tonight. Two Duos vs all randoms. This is no bettter than team vs randoms.

You realize those changes aren’t live until Tuesday, December 13.

Yes I realize that… but I have no confidence that this has been addressed.

Really?
All I am seeing are 3 or 4 man premade tongiht.

Maybe it is because I was solo queueing so they filled me to those gaps in between the premades.

Could of done that before when we had premades. People are just crying no matter what happens.

They really need to add a feature in this forum so you can’t see posts/threads by specific posters.

Teams of team in a team game. That is the best to properly balance PvP due to the fact that most encounters in conquest will result most of the time in 2v2 and 1v1 to cap the nodes

I think what he’s trying to say is 2 teams of 2 are purposely queuing at the same time so they have better chance of being together. Sure they might be on opposite teams or not on the same game at all, but half the time it works. And when it does, its pretty much gg for the 5 randoms.

My suggestion if your a solo’er, wait 1 week or be prepared to get farmed.

Yes…you are correct…a team game where you cannot talk (no ts inside gw2 as far as I know) and cannot team anymore.
Is there someone serious enough here saying writting “3 comin mid need support….thief coming on close please protect the point” while 1 v 2 ing is the way to go ?

Hope you are clever enough to see the problem.

This “no more team” means two thing:
-no more good communication possible in a theoricaly team game
-no way to prevent from being teamed in kitten kitten composition
And to be clear…Anet is really mediocre at team composition in matchmaking. It is so bad I am wondering if it is not intended sometimes. 80% of the cases there is 1 or 2 support class on one side with none on the other. 30% of the cases i am teamed with 2 thieves with no support bunky prof.

I am solo player..I know what happen when you are solo and I accept the consequences. But I know that it is up to me to have a better experience (going in a team).
It will be no more the case.

Only way to go now is to go on a build that can carry the game selfishly. Be prepared for class stacking.

Meh, was in a pug only team vs a 2man/3man premades and we still beat them (and I go it ton vid). Premades don’t always equal win.

I see no problem with duoq, it is way healthier than 5 man premade vs solo. OP, you should try to play thief vs full premade and then play vs duo – you will notice the huge difference right away.

@Kicast.1459: that is what pings are for, but many people don’t use it for some reason.

Between the MM and just the number of people in queue, the probability of successfully sync queueing is almost nothing.

sync queuing only works in games with First in First Out match queuing. This game doesn’t do that so it’s not possible.

Keep in mind unranked is a pretty uncontrolled, random environment—especially leading up to the final days of pre-season.

One match I’ll be put up vs. pro-league players and the next I’ll be matched up vs. keyboard turners. There are a lot of weekend warriors and PvE players coming into PvP now with the announcement that you can obtain ascended armor in season five. You’re just as likely to bump into a premade/duo of fresh players as you are experienced ones.

won’t be possible anymore…you will not commit on finding common ts during waiting phase before match starts

Well we don´t know…. Of course the sheduler shall try to even out classes and duo team on both sides …. But we can assume it will be way better then we had ….
