Im confused to why the game even starts with unbalanced teams? If the roster is full and people leave before the game begins shouldn’t it reset, grab people from que to fill roster or cancel all together?

Was in one today that wasn’t even worth playing. I’ve played 3v5 / 4v5 (actually won one on a 4v5) but starting a match 2v5….There is a simple solution. Yes maybe there aren’t enough players and Q times will increase to start a match, but its all a waste of time anyways for the lesser team. Please fix this.

They have to fix the problem because organized group have to fight against other organized groups and random groups have to fight against other random groups.
I’v tried to join in solo in tournament and the max result i can have with random ppl (and with lesser ppl) is lose at second match.

Basically, yeah, same here. Random teams only stand a chance in the first match and if they’re lucky to not fight against a highly organized team.

Because free tournaments weren’t designed for this. Hot join was supposed to be for solo-queue PvP, but no one likes 8v8 so they are trying to “hot-join” free tourneys.

Basically, Anet needs to either make 8v8 more fun, or make free tourneys pug-friendly. Right now there is no place for new or casual PvPers to go.
