Guild Wars 2

I apologise if this has already been discussed (I did a quick peruse through the sPvP forum threads just now before posting), but I have been experiencing severe on and off lag in sPvP matches and Heart of the Mists lobby.

It’s not always an issue, but when it is it has been crippling. Game play and matches are unbearable and I am a burden on my team rather than an asset.

I realise that this won’t do much to help, but if nothing has been mentioned on the forums already, then at least I can raise the issue. Thanks!

It happens to me too, but very rarely, like for a little period, for no reason… And when it does, it starts only in a game. I cannot predict that I will be lagging in the game, because just before it isn’t the case.
Very rarely I lag the whole game. Often, it’s at the beginning of a game (so, it’s like 4vs5) or it’s spiky lags.

Hmm. I wish it were like that, but it starts in Heart of the Mists and carries through; quite odd. And yet today it was okay. Oh well, guess I’ll just roll with the punches for now!

i’m glad you guys are looking into this, i did ONE spvp today, and I disconected like 5 times during the match, so i’m kinda avoiding pvp for now, because i’ve heard a few people got dishonorable from lag :/

I have lagged heavily and disconnected 4 times within the last 10 minutes just sitting in the HotM. This is unplayable and I can’t imagine what effect this will have on the ToL tomorrow if those players are also experiencing this problem.
