With the new specialisation system we got some new buffs in the skillbar (strength in numbers, stone heart…) but anet hasnt really been consistent with does. there are some really important (game changing) buff missing. we already have the icon done (with the traits). it just needs to show in your buff bar

In my opinion all Traits that somehow give immunity should be shown.
So basically:
Dimond Skin on ele
Transmute on engi
Shared Anguish on Ranger
Mirror of Anguish on Mesmer
Reapers Protection on Necro
Hard to Catch on Thief

maybe i forgot some. but you get the point

this doesnt only add counterplay it also help the player selecting the trait himself by telling when its up and when its not

Some of these don’t technically give immunity (Mirror of Anguish doesn’t prevent you from getting stunned, it only stuns the opponent in return), but i would generally welcome icons for usually non-visible cds, like traits. Those can be invisible to anyone else except the player.

I’d rather little icons by my health bar that showing my Sigil and Rune CD’s.

I don’t find having icons for those necessary. That and Diamond Skin just needs to go, it’s a noobs trap and boggles me why ArenaNet thinks that trait idea is a good idea.
