Skill Cap + Lack of Resources = Get Pwned

I see your point. I haven’t playen practically any sPvP yet, so when i finally get into it i hope i can learn it properly. :P
I just didn’t get one thing. What do you mean by frees and paids?
You need voice chat in order to compete against organized teams. You also need to know metagame roles.
The latter can be learned with a bit of practice while the former needs to be provided by Anet.
Its the unfortunate truth that there is a huge skillgap between paid and free and IMHO, it can only be solved by a good Ladder/Matchmaking/Ranking-System, so we’ll just have to wait for that.

I’m not entirely sure. You know i’m losing many matchs in free tournaments as random against guild teams simply because they got builds which allow them to camp on shrines longer than my team. Right now i lost on khylo against a guild running 5 ele, but clearly because of build and not about players skills.
There are several matchs that i’m losing like 500-400 but i don’t really think it was fair… You play, do your best, get kills 1v1, and you lose because they end up having 2 eles on clock tower and 2 others on mansion, what’s the point…
In GW1, many players will tell you that they used voice communication, but many others will tell you that it wasn’t a must in order to beat guild teams in Heroes Ascent for example..
I’m pretty sure there would be less complaints about bunkers if the capping system was the same as in GW1
spvp and tpvp are way different…for both builds and roles ppl have to play, hot join most of the times is just a plain noobish zergfest on the other hand tpvp requires ts, coordination and skills….there’s the same difference between wvsw and spvp, in wvsw you just zerg around and ppl with no skills can do something just because someone is covering your back, or you just outnumber others…but when you have to count on your skills only…well….you know..
just keep improving yourself and build up nice teams, watch streamings and ask high ranked for tips…this is the only way..

Dunno who said that, but it’s completely bs…in HA any good team absolutely needs TS/Vent…no way you can do something decent without…oh yeah maybe you can play iway without voice com, but we’re talkin’ about good teams right? All you can beat without ts in HA are crappy teams with low ranked players, everyone else is going to kik your kitten to hell in 2 minutes..
