Hello! My skill rating gain after matches goes from 20 & has dropped down to 10 @ some instances; what is it that I’m not doing? I stomp, res, cap, get buffs, heal (im an ele) but sometimes when I play her, I’ll get 15 SR or 10 SR.

It’s all about the people you play with. I went 5-5 in my placements, but since I played against pretty well rated players I was placed in plat 1.

The more matches you play the better the system knows your rating. Because of that, the less your rating changes. Once it knows your rating, it is normal to have matches’ between 8 and 20 points. You get less points if the other team is rated lower, and you get more points for teams that are rated higher than you.
