No personal attack but do you guys, Anet, do realize that why PvP population keep reducing despite there used to be a PvP Golden Age, now turn into a nearly ghost town? 3 Millions Copied sold during launch. Let say 1 Mil bought the game sorely for PvP purposes. I wonder where most of them are now?

Really interesting how you seem to think how stupid we are. What you posted will not happen. Why ? Look at the state of WvW (performance, skill lag etc) and how much “Resources” you put in there. Second i doubt NCsoft is interested in stream viewers or how much people play pvp to grant you more money aka Resources.

Oh if only the matches weren’t so boring (bunker wars ftw) and if only the only pvp mode was not conquest. Oh the humanity, but as it stands it pretty much isn’t worth it to watch commentators trying to “beat a dead horse”. If the other pvp modes are screwed up or not implemented the correct way, good luck anet for trying to make gw2 a full fledge successful e-sport.

Gw2 spvp is the best esport i’ve ever seen, except maybe League of Legends.
I will never stop talking about gw2 spvp or League of Legends.

You do realize if pvp didn’t suck in the first place there would be a lot more playing it?

This is the right path for the devs because the meta is currently shifting on its own. Yes, everyone clung to necros and spirit rangers right after that one patch, and then they realized warriors are strong so we’re moving towards control for a bit until the bunkers and 1v1 builds neutralize the control people.

Just let it settle.

I obviously can’t tell the future, but I think your statement is pretty close to what is already emerging and growing. The meta is already shifting towards sustain over condi spam, and 4 months from now we’ll see power/crit return to spike down sustain players. Then we’ll get complaints that healing signet isn’t strong enough, and stuns need extra duration to create counter play to direct spike builds because they can so easily 1-2-3..you’re dead.

Less and less viewers, less ressources? I’m sad for sPvP players.

They are planning on toning down forum posts by concerned players… ahem i mean customers..

There are reasons why the interest in spvp is minimal.

Fixing those could be an idea to attract/get back players.
Like, decent game modes, to name the first and foremost issue.

I know, it’s mindblowing, but i bet fixing wrong things will work better than anything pvp team did in 1 year.

But I suppose we should try to fix it, so here are my pro tips:

Make players have the pvp page open and then imbed a stream of a twitch channel… count them all as viewers.

Then dedicate some of your servers to running zen and havinf xfire accounts linked to gw2 and playing ridiculous hours…

pretty soon you’ll convince investors that your game is the most popular in ze world!
