Explain. I just started my own Engineer because the class is much more fun than the Warrior. More gimmicky and stuff.
There are so many Turrets in hotjoin right now it’s hilarious.

I’ll be honest, it’s too early to tell if they will be competitive or not. They received some pretty good buffs and may either be well on their way to being competitive or already there.

They buffed the most boring playstyle that shouldnt even exist, all this turrent, minion, spiritsword,phantasm… shouldnt exist ,there’s no skill to it.

If you are not a fan of decent low skill specs, don’t play them.
MUCH better for a game to vary spec skill levels than not.
Oh and I’m honestly surprised you didn’t bring up the worst offender… thief… a laughably easy rotation to near entirely kill a player in seconds…

When people figure out engy isnt godmode it will level off. engies are better, but still not top dog.
People have been wanting to use turrets for a long, long time. Can’t blame them for all trying them out in hotjoins now. It’ll probably last the next day or two.
Oh no, I don’t blame them at all. It’s actually fun to see actually.

Engi is Godmode currently – I do in average 12k Damage on my opponents – just with confusion xD
EDIT: oh forgot to say that I do that within 5 seconds xD

what skills do you use?
Just concussion bomb + prybar + static shot – you get 12 stacks of confusion on the enemy for roughly 5 seconds… in that time he will get ~2000 dmg each “use of skill” – even attunment switch for Ele…
When he’s auto attacking you – he will surely get over 15k damage in that time!

New Automated Response trait: Grants immunity to conditions when the inflictor has over 100% duration.
What does this mean? So if I have 100% or more bleed duration, will the engineer be immune to all my conditions or just my bleeds?

I posted on this below. but this is how it works.
with this trait new conditions should not be able to be applied to the engy below 25% life. (conditions already on him still tick for damage/effect, but he cant get more bleed stcks for example than whats already there). Now of course u can get healed above 25% and get loaded up with conditions again.
But what happens below 25% is conditions on you seem to get 100% duration debuffed. HOWEVER if a necro is traited and speced right he might have +133% condition duration. meaning he can put conditions on you still despite this trait , if even for a shorter time. With this bug fix the trait works as intended. Its still a meh trait, only to be used for full bunkers.
As for confusion, i tested it and i didnt have an issue.

Right its a bug fix, but one that results in a small buff, some bug fixes (like the one to our flamethrower ) make things worse. This is an improvement.

Pfft, turrets still suck…. the two most viable Tpvp builds both contain primarily elixirs one being HGH pistol elixirs and the other being HGH rifle/grenade build. Not much changed other than the fact 100 nades is now gone.

True, I still think for the HGH build s and b are better but meh… I digress it will possibly work for some people.
