Well many people simply know the game mode Deathmatch.
Why isn´t deathmatch viable in gw2 ? Because of the new trinity?
If u would add now the deathmatch mode to the game it wouldn´t be balanced at all , damage dealers > supports for example. But here is my idea:
U got a map about the map size from old ha maps, No capture , No Base u need to rush just kill the other team !
Every players has 10 or 15 times more life then they are used to have.
The damage people takes in Downstate are decreased by 50%
Support skills are 200% more effective.
Time size about 6 or 8 ( I think if the team size is about 8 , the life must be a bit higher)
That is my first thought so what could happen ?
So just let us do some math – People would have around 180k to 200k life (just an example) And support skills from the ele would maybe heal around (2-4k normal so now about 6-12k.
So lets see : We got a bala team vs a spike :
Balanced team
War (100blades)
Thief (Condition or backstab)
Mesmer ( Shatter )
Ingi ( CC )
2 ele (1 hybrid 1 sup)
Necro ( Sup)
Guard ( Sup )
VS
8 Ele ( 3 glass-canons – 2 hybrids – 3 sup )
What do u expect to be happen ?
That´s how I could imagine it :
TEAM BALA :
The group is at start all at their range weapons and are setting to pressure the group while beside, they try to find targets with are more vulnerable then others .
Meanwhile in Team SPIKE
The “backline” is supporting the targets witch gets pressured and are laughing about the damage because they can handle the damage.
The caller calls a spike on the thief , 6 ele try to spike him on fire dmg ( The thief was quick and used his break stun) nothing happen except some dmg on the group because they balled)
Team bala :
The guard , ele and necro tries to support their thief so that he gets life req and some life – he is fine)
The Team found ele 4 to be a good target , so they prepare a spike ( Ultimate from mesmer(moa) – Thief and War are switching on melee – ele on fire element and they call a spike)
The Ele number 4 is lucky that he could dogde the moa but he got still hit by the incoming war and thief and got a lot of dmg but he use mist form to escape .
Team Spike :
Ele number 4 need to take a bit more care so he is hidding behind his m8 while he tries to heal him up by his one and his group :
Next spike is calling , this time a necro : They all hit the Necro at the same time and he lost more then 50% of his life , the necro use F1 so he can survive a bit longer – the caller is still on him and all ele are pressureing him so he drops another 25%.
