I think this is a very important topic. We could use a new “tip of the iceberg” blog post.
What to expect in the next 3 months?
I’d say:
1) Penalty for leavers
2) Fixing (or reverting) the dodge queue
3) Spliting solo from premade queue
4) Reworking some skills (like elementalist focus skills, noone uses it for anything)
5) Nerf ranger’s pet
6) Merging heart of the mists servers….regional aka NA and EU
7) Make maps random on ladder games?

You mean like a particle effect density slider that is in every quality MMO except GW2?
9 months later and hard to believe they are so quick to fix these things! I bet this will be a pvp-only feature too, even though massive particle effects plague the entire game.

Lol, its so obvious GW2 was rushed to market even for a MMORPG because they all are released before they are close to really ready. I still enjoy it mostly but for such a new game it bizarre some of the things it doesn’t have. I’m still holding out hope for decent combat log one day among many other things that should have been available day one in a game that was launched in 2012.
