The solo arena roster shuffling should be in the next update (11/12) unless we find a critical bug and have to back out the change. This change should eliminate the sync queuing, and do a great deal toward preventing lopsided matchups.

More significant changes to matchmaking will come sometime next year, and I’ve already been told I can write-up a blog post and start a conversation with you guys, so keep an eye out for that.

Well now that sync queuing is gonna be fixed… Can we please add some sort of feature to stay with your current team into the next fight? Maybe add rewards for win streaks etc. Sometimes i get into some matches where I actually feel like my teammates arent half kittened and wouldnt mind playing with them again, but in reality i will never see them again. Even if for example I decide to queue with one or two of them in Team Tourney, im guaranteed to go into a match vs a full premade team on voip.

Also what is Anets plan for getting teams to form?
I dont think solo queue is helping and map chat is non existent. If allowing winning teams to continue onto a streak was implemented, you would be able to actually form some kind of connection with future buddies.

I wish both Solo and Team arena acted like Random and Team arena is GW1. Increased rank and glory for consecutive wins(add 25-50 points per win up to 5 wins or something) but allow a team to stay together for like 10-15 wins. But that’s just my hope.

Compounding rewards for consecutive wins and teams go into Team Queue if 5 all stay. Yeah, I like this idea.

I agree with you on this 100%.

No. when you get teh stacked team and win every solo q kinda ruins it for everyone else.

This just adds to the issue that currently exists.

inb4 the argument: “once matchmaking is fixed”

their isn’t very many people in q at once. Stacked teams will occur. Skyhammer farmers exists. Not everyone is great at this game. Once a stacked team gets created they will destroy any hope for the next solo q guys.

PS we don’t have the solo q population to even bother considering changing this.
