Started playing pvp again in queue matches and noticed that most of the teams im facing are pre-mades, this is fine but im not always able to pvp with my friends so usually I just solo queue.

It feels like sometimes if you want to solo play your only option is hot join and we all know how good that is or play on a pick up team against mostly pre-mades and be at a disadvantage.

My question is can we get a queue for ranked and unranked where people in party’s cant join so its a true solo queue, what do other people think about this?
I feel like this would be a good way to get true random match ups and people in party’s can face other people in party’s in normal queue.

This used to exist but was removed in favour of the new ranked and unranked arenas.

To be honest during this most recent ladder I have only ran into full premade groups once or twice. You are matched against duos and trios quite a bit but usually your team has one or two groups yourself.

The matchmaking is SUPPOSED to take into account how strong a premade is and makes it so if you are a full group of solos you should only face a premade if the players have a lower MMR than your players so there is a good chance you will beat them anyway.

That being said I have been matched against some of the top “esports” teams with a full team of solo queuers before and it was pretty much a waste of time. You don’t learn anything getting stomped that bad.

Ok yeah I though that it was like that but haven’t played pvp in a little while since it changed.

That’s interesting I have been doing unranked solo prob about 75% of the time and find that about half my games have 2+ premade. I guess it could also be that people on my team are 2s or 3s (not reping same guild or in Tchat) and im just hoping into these random games all the time.

yeah I totally agree when you have a full pick up team facing a full premade its worthless.
