Guild Wars 2

I am getting back into GW2 and I was wondering what would be a good compliment to a Reaper, a War or Guardian? This is mainly for pvp purposes and WvW wandering (assuming the game is the same in where to find good team and solo pvp combat). Your suggestions are much appreciated.

Neither of your choice had been meta long enough this last year (since the 2015 june patch that pave the way to HoT) to be look at.

Use another Reaper or a Scrapper or a Herald for best damage/sustain.

reaper is a good choice for rookies, just dont forget to check the Snap Target option, thats the thing which separates good reapers from great reapers

If you dont want to play those 3 classes i suggest revanent. Rev imo is still a top player for 1 vs 1 and team fights.
