So, I just logged in to play and got matched against a team full of new classes while my team had none. What is going on? Why nothing is mentioned in patch notes, why noone is talking about this?
Will everyone need to buy the expansion to keep up with PvP?

So? Is this a preview of what it will be when the expansion is released? Where who doesn’t have the expansion will surely be behind?

Its called beta and the testing is done in the live environment for the best results.
If you don’t get HoT you won’t be able to use the elite specializations, but you will still be able to play the the core specializations and be effective using them. The new specs aren’t designed to be straight upgrades to the old classes, they only open up more builds and different roles.
