I was wondering what’s up with this. I don’t like playing 8v8… but even though I join up on queues that say “team size: 5” it still lets 8 players in.

Has anyone gotten this or is there a fix or what. I don’t wanna be forced into zerging thank you.

Look at the number. The hot-join arenas with number bigger than 100 are 5vs5.

Its because of the spectator slots, drives me nuts too, especially when I’m trying out builds.

Hint the a net servers have 5 v 5 if their number is over 100, otherwise it’s 8v8 with spectator slots

Set a filter for 5v5. You’ll see 100+ numbered rooms are all 5v5.

That doesnt work anymore either. They also let 8v8 in. Spectating isnt possible anymore either and joining a blue or red team is "broke"too.

Oh and creating a new filter 5v5 doesnt help. Says its a 5v5 game, but lets 8v8 people in.

Is this a bug or a change, i didnt read anything about a change though…

The OP is correct. I’m having issues with spvp lobbys at the moment, including my own custom arena. It won’t let me spectate and every single lobby is auto-join, 5v5 lobbys are just full of people with no spectators. Am I nuts or is this happening to anyone else? lol

yep, it looks like pvp is bugged right now, you can’t be a spectator or change teams.
If it’s an intended change, it’s really a bad thing since I mostly play pvp with guildies and friends and now you can’t chose who you’re playing with..

Yea… my 1v1 server is now a random deathmatch server… Plz a-net fix this hehe xD.

Looks like it was a ninja stealth change in the last patch. You can only spec in custom arena now.

Yeah it was a nice addition, I had no idea they were going to remove it too. The devs have absolutely no feasible communication between players and themselves. This forum is nearly pointless since we get no feedback. Why did they remove it??

I’m pretty shocked if this was an intended change. I’ve played well since the patch and this wasn’t the case even a day ago. I don’t know when this started happening but it wasn’t this way come the friday reset, in which a patch was implemented in the middle of it. Sneaky suspicion something’s kittened up.

Personally, i don’t find this new update attractive. To me, it feels like solo q but with some really inexperienced players in it.

It’s bad, i used to watch people who were interesting/ had the same class as i did to learn, observe and compare to my build.

no, its not better that they dont bother to even hotfix it. They just kill switch it off and then go home? lol like wtf. Dont even have a team work on it for a few extra hours the day of the tournament? this is so sad

Why is it that this could be done so quickly but other obvious fixes, like removing Skyhammer from the queue rotation, cannot?

We have 2 tournaments per week in EU^^

every game is a 10 vs 10…

just make 2 filters – 5v5 and 8v8 (thats how i have it)

click on create filter
than name it 5v5 or 8v8
and jsut change team size to 5 5 and 8 8 and you are done

now you will always have your favourit setup

What’s better:
No team stacking
No autobalance minigame
No build snooping
Closer more competitive matches

What’s worse:
10v10 is too zergy, should just be 8v8 again
Sometimes I have to wait a long time to get into the server I want

So because your crew is lazy and incapable you have wasted numerous of people’s time and energy they put into holding a tournament in which you scum never host yourself. People put together videos, transferred from EU, threw in mass amounts of gold and rewards and this is what we get?

Someone can’t wake up at 9:30 to fix the servers because it’s a Saturday.

Guess we’ll postpone it 5 weeks.

It wasn’t a complaint about Skyhammer specifically. More that this fix is evidence they can make simple changes quickly, yet they ignore issues for weeks and months for some inexplicable reason.

I see. The game currently only has “spectator slots” and “player slots”. And by disabling “spectator slots”, only “player slots” remain. Which is why servers are suddenly 8v8 or 10v10. So for those with their own custom servers, you just have to lower the total amount of slots, “spectator” or “player” doesn’t matter, for now. Or just change the password and lock the server until the bug is fixed.

Just wanted to say from a tournament organization point-of-view, this is a good time to review QA processes. Having spectator mode in a turned-off state with a major community event happening the same day is a very unfortunate turn of events, and steps should be taken to prevent or at least reduce the chance of a repeat occurrence from happening, thanks!

Why I have no Ranger Signets passive in sPvP?

When you disable it, the signet problem solved.
And now you enable spec. mode, the problem comes again.
